Founded in March 1991 by Chief Apostle Bishop Michael W. Lewis, Sr., First Victory Cathedral has been a lighthouse of hope, spiritual restoration, and community transformation in Seminole Heights and East Tampa for over 30 years.
Bishop Lewis was consecrated in 1999 to the office of Bishop and Chief Apostle over the Word of Faith Assemblies in Christ Fellowship. Over three decades, his vision has expanded beyond the pulpit into marketplace and educational ministries—including private Christian education, youth development, senior services, and community outreach.
“Our mandate is simple yet profound: To equip believers to love like Christ, live like Christ, and lead like Christ so they may walk in continuous, total victory.”
